Dedicated to my pupils,

Each of us wish to write a story about ourselves that we can be proud of, so that others can be proud of us.  Some of us may falter now and then, but we need to go on.  Some of us have to face the music, and we must, for that teaches us about life’s consequences.  And this is the value that we may wish to impart to others that we will meet in time.  We may dislike certain things that are good for us, and sometimes we are forced to choose what we need over what we want.  But that is indeed life’s bittersweet challenges.  Most importantly, we need to continue to weave our dreams, be truthful to our heart and most of all, believe in ourselves.  Have belief in ourselves when we know we still have the time to make things right, when we feel that all hope is lost and when we need it the most.  And then, when all is done, you are ready to write your success story of life…

It has been a great test of time, a worthwhile journey, a wholesome experience. We have won some, and may have lost others. We may have reap all, yet sow none. Here we are, at life’s crossroads once again. People come and go; no one really stayed throughout life’s bittersweet challenges. We have felt the need to impress others, and yet realised how much we have suppressed our own talents. We have the desire to lead, and yet followed others all our life. People said that everything’s done; we have done what we have and we cannot undo any. People said this is it; the moment of truth. I said nay; it’s a beginning for all of us - a fresh start. It is time to do what should have been done. It is time to lead when we have followed. It is time for you to carve your own history. It does not matter whether you are in the dark or in the light; just let them remember the name…
